Operations Coordinator, Wellington

Reporting to Senior Project Manager, the position will form part of the operations team based in Wellington.

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Undertaking activity of stock takes
  • Ordering consumables for projects and ensuring the yard is sufficiently stocked
  • Booking accommodation
  • Setting up new supplier and sub- contracts in system, receipting goods, invoices, and credit card consolidation
  • Producing Asbestos Removal Control Plans method statements, risk assessments and other technical documents with support from internal stakeholders
  • Selling salvage goods via the company TradeMe page
  • Keeping accurate records of plant and projects including auditing project files
  • Assisting with complying job packs and archiving completed projects
  • Booking training and keep updated training records
  • Keeping PPE, plant records, PAT’s, service records and repairs registers up to date

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role with a background in demolition and asbestos is advantageous but not essential
  • Good administration and proficient skills
  • Good time keeping and great interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Candidates must hold a full driver’s license
