John has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry specialising in the field of asbestos removal and hazardous waste remediation.

Since commencing his career in the early 1980s John has completed many large scale friable asbestos, non-friable asbestos and hazardous material remediation projects across Australia and the United States, from built-up urban environments through to remote and isolated areas.

Since 1993 John has overseen the Asbestos Removal and Hazardous Waste Division of McMahon Services, delivering hazardous material abatement services for Federal and State Government and clients in the health, industrial, commercial, Defence and mining sectors, in all states and territories of Australia and on remote island nations across the Pacific Ocean.

Major projects include asbestos and hazardous waste remediation works at the Flinders Power Augusta Power Stations Decommissioning project, the $7 million Queensland Alumina Maintenance Contract at Gibson Island, the $4 million Advertiser Building Asbestos Removal and Demolition project and asbestos remediation works for the $672 million Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure project.
