Site Manager

Full-Time – Auckland

McMahon Services is hiring for a Site Manager based out of Auckland, with the expectation of working on sites throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. The ideal candidate will have a background in demolition, deconstruction and asbestos. The role is largely site based, being the main point of contact for all in-house subtrades and external subcontractors.

Reporting to the Project Manager, our ideal canditate should be IT literate and have some financial understanding. The role requires a strong communicator and will involve mentoring and supporting junior team members to facilitate their professional growth.

This is a salaried position, with company ute, fuel card, credit card and excellent working away allowances.

Project Manager

Full-Time – Auckland

McMahon Services is looking for a Project Manager with experience pricing and managing asbestos removal projects. The position encompasses;

• Managing and maintaining projects across commercial, industrial, educational, retail, social housing and healthcare sites.
• Writing technical documents including ARCPs, SWMS, and JSEAs
• Providing customers with quotations for work to be carried out
• Continuing to develop an in-depth knowledge of our customer portfolio
• Visiting site to ensure work is carried out in line with relevant company and legislative directives
• Involvement in training new employees
• Carrying out site audits, ensuring to report any analytical findings
• Liaising with customers, providing excellent consultancy advice and technical support
• Efficiently liaising with other departments within the business

In addition, training will be provided to ensure the project manager is conversant in other aspects of the business, including demolition and site remediation. As a salaried position in one of the larger organisations, you will be supported and developed through the New Zealand business, while also enjoying training and development from our Australian offices.

The position includes a company ute, fuel card, credit card and generous working away entitlements.

Class A Asbestos Supervisor Manager

Full-Time – Auckland

We’re looking for a Class A asbestos supervisor based out of Auckland, with some travel and working away required. The ideal candidate would have experience running large friable and non-friable projects, be IT literate and self-motivated. As part of our team, you will be trained and exposed to other aspects of site work including soft strip, manual demolition, smaller plant operation (concrete cutting, robots) and mechanical demolition, remote, conventional and top down. We provide this training to ensure you are cross-trained in all the work we undertake.

For the right candidate we offer a minimum 45-hour working week with an hourly pay over the national average, company ute, fuel card and credit card with excellent working away allowances and pay increments for working weekends.
